Thai PBS Verify found a Cambodian social media user who posted an image of a bomber, claiming it depicted a new round of conflict between Thailand and Cambodia. Verification found that the photo was taken from a World War II dive bomber video game to create fake news. This was shared more than 2,700 times.

Thai PBS Verify inspected a whirlwind video clip posted by the Drama-addict page, which was shared over 1,600 times. The clip shows a strong rotational wind current resembling a waterspout, blowing off roofs and damaging buildings. Verification confirmed that the clip is real and not an AI image.

Thai PBS Verify examined a post by a Cambodian user claiming to show a dead Thai soldier. The post drew thousands of comments and was shared more than 200 times. However, the image was found to be from a 2013 insurgent attack in Narathiwat Province and is unrelated to the Thailand–Cambodia situation.

The phenomenon of the mountain peak glowing golden has been widely shared for its beauty, leading some people to question whether the images are real or AI‑generated. Lately, scientists and photography experts have confirmed that this is simply a natural occurrence, nothing unusual.

Investigation reveals the image is from 2023, manipulated with misleading text to create confusion, and includes a deceptive link to a pornographic website, risking personal data loss.

A Facebook post claimed that major media outlets shared a quote in which Kan Chom-Phalang was praised by (Vladimir) Putin through the BBC. In reality, the post merely used the media’s logo and distorted the original content.

A Facebook user claimed that “Putin praised Kan Jompalang as a model citizen who loves his country and homeland.” However, upon investigation, it was found to be false — merely a scam post intended to lure people into subscribing to a paid service. Thousands of users were deceived and shared the post over 1,000 times.
